Robin’s choice to venture into counseling stems from her genuine enjoyment of working with diverse individuals. She focuses on collaborating with clients, lending an empathetic ear, and walking alongside them to navigate their stories and achieve positive resolutions.

Robin’s varied life experiences, from being a college athlete, coach, personal trainer, school counselor, adjunct professor to earning a degree in Educational Leadership, have significantly shaped her evolution as a mental health professional. 

Robin Massari specializes in a range of areas and brings a unique approach to her therapeutic practice:

  • Trauma Treatment Expertise: Robin is proficient in trauma treatment and uses methods such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Somatic-Based Interventions.

  • Emotional Regulation and Family Dynamics: Throughout her professional journey, Robin has collaborated with diverse clients, mastering the art of handling emotional dysregulation, navigating family dynamics, and supporting life transitions. Her expertise ensures that individuals and families achieve elevated self-esteem and overall well-being.

  • Academic-Presented Challenges: Her tenure in the public school systems has equipped Robin with the skills to provide adept support for issues such as school refusal, anxiety, and eating disorders, specifically tailored to assist individuals who might be misunderstood within academic environments.

  • Client-Centered Approach: In her private practice, she focuses on providing individualized support for people of all ages, incorporating client-centered strategies as well as helping families navigate the 504 and IEP processes.
